This page contains a list of books that talk about Data Warehousing and Data Mining.
As with other disciplines, there are some fundamental books written by the main leaders and innovators, those who set the theoretical foundations. In the DW area two names stand out as the most interesting and prolific writers: Bill Inmon (author of "Building the Data Warehouse" and "Data warehouse performance") and Ralph Kimball (author of "The Data Warehouse Toolkit" and "The Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit", in addition to dozens of articles in major magazines).
Even if this breaks the rule of impartiality, I'd like to add that in my opinion there is no doubt that Kimball is the reference for those who develop dimensional data warehouses.
In the Data Mining area a fundamental book is DATA MINING TECHNIQUES, from A. Berry and Gordon Linoff.
In any case it's evident from the list below that there is no shortage of information on the subject.

Come per altri settori, ci sono dei testi fondamentali scritti dai rappresentanti più significativi del settore, coloro che hanno tracciato la strada per gli altri. Nel settore DW tra queste persone ci sono senz’altro Bill Inmon (autore di Building the Datawarehouse e Datawarehouse performance) e Ralph Kimball (autore di The Data Warehouse Toolkit e The Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit oltre a decine di articoli sulle maggiori riviste di settore). Anche se non si dovrebbe, aggiungo che dovendo scegliere tra i due non avrei dubbi: Kimball è il punto di riferimento per chi sviluppa Data Warehouse dimensionali.
Nel settore del Data Mining un testo molto consigliabile è DATA MINING TECHNIQUES, di A. Berry, Gordon Linoff.
In ogni caso, non si può dire che vi sia carenza di informazioni: basta dare uno sguardo alla lista che segue, dove ho cercato di elencare i "best seller" per primi.
