 Andrea Vincenzi is an independent consultant specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing projects.

Has been a Principal Engineer with Olivetti and Digital Equipment Corporation, a senior manager at Key Partners (a spin-off of Ernst & Young) and is currently collaborating with first tier consulting companies in Rome and Milan.
Over the years he has been involved in many projects, always using state-of-the-art technologies such as: Unix kernel programming and relational databases in the 1980s, workflow and knowledge management systems in the 1990s.  He was responsible for a strategic software project with Digital Equipment Corporation at its Engineering Headquarters (Nashua, USA).
His teaching activity includes courses on Structured Software Design, Database and Data Warehousing, in addition to speaking at international conferences and authoring many articles for specialized magazines.
He has been a member of the board of management for i2U (the Italian Unix users Association), member of a European Community board for selecting IT projects, and founder of the popular www.olap.it web site, one of the most authoritative sources of Business Intelligence information on the web.
Since 1996 he has been working as a consultant dedicated to the development of Business Intelligence systems (Data Warehouse Architect, Data Modeler), in both the private and public sectors.
A solid knowledge of Data Warehousing techniques and methodologies is at the heart of his skills, together with strong analytical capabilities and the capacity to interact effectively with senior management.
Thanks to his long experience as a consultant he's able to "hit the ground running" in many environments, and provide fast results.
